We are pleased to announce that our collaboration with [Jimeat] and <China Press> on the live fundraising for Karak New Village has been a success! We have managed to raise RM30, 000 in donations! Thank you for your donations, these donations would greatly assist in the rebuilding of the homes lost during the fire!
A total of 56 homes and 8 shoplots were lost in this huge fire. During the live broadcast, Kelvin Lee and Jimeat’s broadcaster Agnes took audiences for a walkthrough around the ruined houses to witness the amount of damage did by the biggest fire Karak New Village has ever seen, as well as the scale of rebuild needed. This live broadcast brought a total of nearly 140,000 views, we are pleased to see how everyone gathered strengths and played their part to raise RM30,000 in donations. These donations will be handed over to the Karak New Village Committee, to ensure all victims receive the required assists and a smooth rebuilding process.
As the leading online seafood platform in Malaysia, Fully Fishery believes in leading by example, hence we have also donated supplies as well as RM8,000 in donations to Karak New Village. Hopefully this would help the victims recover from this difficult moment as soon as possible! Although this fundraising campaign has ended, with a considerable amount of donations and supplies successfully raised, the rebuilding process of the new village involves a huge amount of funds, hence those who have the ability are still welcomed to donate to Karak New Village Committee.
